Youth
Youth and Young Adults are not just the hope of the church for tomorrow; they are the leadership of the church today. With energy, vision, enthusiasm and motivated by deep faith, youth and young adults actively participate in mission - transforming the world and themselves in the process.
Global Ministries offers mission opportunities to youth and young adults - through seminars and scholarships and on-the-job training and life-changing chances to serve- and have for more than half a century.
Short-term possibilities for youth range from one-week seminars, to summer internships, to 2- to 6- month terms abroad as Global Justice Volunteers. Long-term, they may serve for 2 years as US-2's, for 3 years as Mission Interns, or as missionaries, deaconesses, mission pastors, or church and community workers. Opportunities for mission study are offered each year through the Schools of Christian Mission to strengthen a commitment to the mission goals of the church.
The General Board of Global Ministries resources and connects young people as they live out mission in their communities and around the world. Visit our webpages for youth and young adults.
